The annual Davis Book Fair is a great way to get our kids excited about books and reading while raising money for Davis. Volunteers decorate the walls outside the library to transform the space into an immersive, imaginative experience. When the Book Fair is in-person we need volunteers to help the kids add books to their wishlists and man the registers. When it is in-person we have one evening where families come to the school. When it is virtual we typcially have two Author Nights where authors read their book to the kids. Teachers make up their book wishlists so be on the lookout to help them build their classroom libraries. We also typcially have a donation jar to help buy a book for kids who wouldn’t be able to by one on their own. Remember to read with your child every night!
