Calling all Grandparents!
The Legacy Group works to increase the volunteer base at Davis with help from grandparents and other friends of Davis. This group of volunteers assist in the following areas: Library, Classroom, Cafeteria, Reading to and listening to children read, Computer Lab, Office, Decorating, Mentoring, and any other of the diverse needs our school might have. They can also help with the annual Grandparents’ Luncheon in December.
We need volunteers who will make a difference in a child’s life and education. It will make a difference in your life as well. It becomes part of your legacy.

Annual AISD Volunteer Registration
Please note that ALL VOLUNTEERS will need to complete the APIE BACKGROUND CHECK every year before volunteering for anything on campus, class field trips, etc.
- It is NOT necessary to donate. Please click on the link that says, “To continue to the Volunteer Registration Portal without making a donation, click here.”
- New users will need to create a new account.
- Returning users will need to login.
- Select “Davis Elementary School” and “School Volunteer”.
- It may take 5-7 business days to process.

Grandparents, we want you to help us give every child a voice at Davis. Please join PTA to further your support of the Davis community.
To join & pay for PTA membership online ($10), please go to the Dolphin Parent Toolkit and sign-up to be a member of the PTA.
If you prefer to join & pay for PTA membership offline, you can print this 2023-2024 Membership flyer (click to download and print). Put the completed form along with your payment (cash or check made out to Davis PTA) in an envelope marked PTA Membership, and turn it into PTA mailbox in the Davis front office.
