Davis Players 5th Grade Drama Club

2024–2025 Season

Davis Players is proud to continue the beloved tradition of the Davis Elementary 5th Grade Play—now in its 18th year! Founded in 2007, this volunteer-run theater club gives 5th graders a chance to shine on and off the stage.

What Is Davis Players?

Davis Players is open to ALL 5th graders who are ready to commit time, effort, and a positive attitude. Whether your child dreams of the spotlight or prefers working behind the scenes, there’s a place for them in this program.

• 🎭 Actors will participate in theater workshops and rehearsals, preparing for a full-scale production in April.

• 🎬 Production Crew members will help bring the show to life with sound, lights, props, and more.

The experience is about much more than putting on a play—it's about building teamwork, confidence, and creativity in a supportive community. All participants and a parent/guardian will be asked to sign a participation agreement.

Club Fee

The participation fee is $25.
If cost is a concern, fee waivers are available—just let us know!

Schedule

All workshops and rehearsals are held Sundays, 1:30–3:30 PM at Davis Elementary (except holiday weekends).

🎭 Performances

• Friday, April 25 – Sneak Peek for students during school hours

• Saturday, April 26 – Matinee for families and friends
  (Doors open at 10:00 AM, show begins at 11:00 AM)

Note: Attendance at all rehearsals and performances is required. If your student has known conflicts with two or more rehearsal dates or any of the production week dates, we kindly ask that you do not register.

Parent Volunteers

We rely on parent involvement to make this program possible! Each student is required to have an adult volunteer for at least 2 program dates.
