Kick off the new school year with a sweet celebration! Meet your teacher, drop off school supplies, and then head to the cafeteria to connect with other Davis families over ice cream, spirit gear, and back-to-school fun.

🍎 Meet the Teacher | 4:30–5:30 PM (Classrooms)

Once inside, head to your student's classroom to:

• Meet your teacher and see the classroom
• Drop off school supplies
• Complete any beginning-of-year paperwork

✏️ Don’t forget your School Supplies!

Bringing your supplies during Meet the Teacher helps make the first day of school smoother for everyone.

If you ordered a kit from 1st Day School Supplies, it will already be waiting in your child's classroom.

🍦 Ice Cream Social | 5:00–6:00 PM (Cafeteria)

After visiting the classroom, join us in the cafeteria to:

• Enjoy a sweet treat from Shake Shack
• Purchase or pick up Davis Spirit Gear
• Complete your Online Open House forms, if needed (laptops available)
• Meet the PTA and learn how to get involved
• Explore Davis after-school programs
• Snap a back-to-school photo! 📸
• Mix and mingle with new and returning Davis families

Tip: Complete your Online Open House forms before you arrive, if possible, to save time during the event. Laptops will be available in the cafeteria for families who still need to complete them.

Help make Ice Cream Social a success! Shifts are available before, during, and after the event.

🚗 entrance and PARKING INFORMATION

Please use your designated grade-level entrance (see map below) to help reduce crowding.

Parking is very limited, and the front lot fills quickly. If possible, please walk, bike, or carpool.

✅ Additional parking is available:

• Austin Taiwanese Presbyterian Church lot (connected to the front lot via the pedestrian gate)
• Neighborhood streets including Mustang Chase, West Cow Path, and Bull Run (please park respectfully)

🚫 Please do not park:

• In reserved staff spaces (back row facing Duval)
• In the two reserved spaces in the front row facing Davis
• In handicap spaces without a valid permit
• In the East Drive back lot (staff parking only)
• At Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
• At William's Community School
