Why Support Davis

Davis Elementary is a diverse school in the Austin Independent School District that leans on a strong partnership with its Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to ensure that every student can reach their full potential through quality public education.

• Attended by 675 students and served by over 100 teachers and staff.
• Diverse campus with one-third of our population being economically disadvantaged, fifty percent belonging to a cultural minority, and nearly twenty percent does not speak English.
• Located in Northwest Austin on Duval Road between 183 and Mopac, a thoroughfare with 15,000 car trips per weekday.

How Will Funds Be Used

Community Sponsorships is a vital fundraising effort of Davis PTA that relies on support from local companies to sustain essential school programs.

• Family Support: Weekend meals for more than 100 food-insecure students for the 37-week school year.
• Enhanced Curriculum: Instructional resources for hands-on STEM program focused on collaborative problem solving.
• Student Enrichment: Special interest activities that expand learning in science, art, math, and theater.
• Teacher Support: Training, classroom supplies, and wellness activities.
