Calling all Davis Dads and other father-figures (grandfathers, uncles, etc.)! We would love you to sign up as a Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) volunteer to help out at Davis this school year!

Watch D.O.G.S. is a family and community engagement educational initiative with two primary goals:

  • To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
  • To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.

What is a typical day for a Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer?

  • Start with a detailed daily schedule from Mrs. Daniels.
  • Typically begin on the East Drive greeting students and parents.
  • Attend multiple classrooms to serve as a role model and support teachers including your own child(ren).
  • Provide extra assistance for students in need.
  • Monitor and support the lunch hour.
  • Experience a full day at Davis and enjoy your kids in their own space. (This will be their favorite day of school—how often is Dad at recess?!)

SIGN UP to volunteer for a full or half day at Davis. Please ensure you follow all steps to volunteer for this amazing program!
